Dear Supporters,
The Croydon Aviation Heritage Trust is asking for your further support to help us to gather necessary funds, which will allow completion of the building.
When completed we can open to the public and thereby generate income. At present all visitors can only be asked for a donation because all of the required regulatory compliance issues are not fully covered.
We have a magnificent facility, on which we have spent all our money to maximize hangar size and public facilities. We now need further support to complete the necessary items to protect the public, such as fire protection and alarm systems.
The demand for functions, weddings, funerals and reunions to use the centre and share it’s undoubted (aura) atmosphere is increasing and we need to exploit this demand fully. With the reopening of The Moth Restaurant, activity in the area has increased dramatically.
To enable the building to open publicly we need $50,000, not a huge amount of money but at this time we have exhausted all of the recognized funding agencies.
We are now requesting your continuing support.
We thank you for your donation.
